FAQ
What was the California AG DFS Opinion?
On July 3, 2025, the California AG released its opinion on the legality of daily fantasy sports (DFS) in the state. After the opinion was released, all DFS operators have stated that they will continue to operate in the state. LFG and its game providers - Sparket and Fantasy Sports EVO - are in agreement with the other DFS operators and will continue to operate as we were prior to July 3. What is Responsible Fantasy Contest Play?
At LFG, we are committed to providing a fun, fair, and responsible fantasy sports experience. While fantasy sports can be an exciting way to engage with your favorite games, it's important to play responsibly.
Our Commitment to You
To help ensure a safe and enjoyable environment, we encourage our community to:
Set Limits: Establish time and budget limits that fit within your lifestyle.
Play for Fun: Treat fantasy contests as a way to enhance your enjoyment of sports—not as a way to make money.
Stay In Control: If playing stops being fun or feels like a necessity, take a break or seek support.
Know the Rules: Understand the rules and strategies of the game before participating.
Be Honest: Only use your own account and information, and never let others play on your behalf.
Protecting Vulnerable Users
Fantasy sports on LFG are intended for community members aged 18 or older (or the legal age in your jurisdiction). Our fantasy contest builders use a combination of verification and monitoring tools to help prevent underage play and detect potential issues early.

Does the LFG platform have any community rules or guidelines?
Yes.
In order to foster a safe and welcoming environment, we have put together the following community guidelines that we expect all members to uphold while engaging in our spaces.
Please read all guidelines before entering the LFG community and refer back for any questions related to your conduct! If you do not follow the LFG community guidelines, this could result in removal from our platform!
Please honor the following LFG community rules:
1. Be kind, respectful, and empathic.
We're all in this together to create a welcoming environment where fans of women's sports feel empowered to share stories, insights, & experiences. Let's treat everyone with respect and dignity. Healthy debates - even friendly, respectful trash talk - are natural, but kindness and empathy are required.
2. No hate speech, bullying, politics or inappropriate comments.
Make sure everyone feels safe. Bullying of any kind isn't allowed, and degrading comments about things like race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender, or identity will not be tolerated. Additionally, do not post anything inappropriate, explicit, or degrading, including language, images, or discussions that go against the values of respect and inclusivity.
3. No promotions, spam, or irrelevant external links.
Self-promotion, solicitation and spam aren't allowed and may be deleted. This is a space to connect with other fans of women's sports, not for selling or pushing corporate agendas.
4. Respect everyone’s privacy.
Being part of the LFG community requires mutual trust. What's shared in the LFG community should stay in the LFG community.
5. Share experience, not advice.
Focus on sharing personal and fan experiences and stories over offering advice. We are creating a supportive space where fans of women's sports can connect, empathize, and learn from one another without the expectation of providing "one-size fits all" solutions or imposing "correct" viewpoints.
Does the LFG platform have fantasy leagues that I can participate in?
The LFG platform has fantasy contests but not fantasy leagues. There are several great sites that you can go to, if you want to play in fantasy leagues for women's sports.
For soccer, try one of these:
Fantasy WSL - Fantasy football for the FA Women's Super League
Fantasy NWSL - Fantasy soccer for the National Women's Soccer League
ShePlays | Fantasy Football Competition
For hoops, try this one:
Play Fantasy Women's Basketball for Free - ESPN
LFG isn't associated in anyway with those sites (other than being women's sports fans, just like the fans that created them).
Enjoy! Then come back to LFG's chats and Discord server to talk about your experiences!
